Gas and Electric utilites are almost always the responsibility of the Resident.  For those that are looking for a single family home, you would also be required to pay for the Water and Sewer, and sometimes Trash, as well. 

Keep in mind that we also have many apartments that are all-electric for those that are trying to avoid having to pay a gas bill. 

We often get questions about the amount of the utilites of a home or apartment, many times we can only offer a best guess.  Fortunately the utility companies will give you what an "average usage" amount would be based on the previous occupant.  Keep in mind that their living situation and usage may be very different from what yours would be, but it is a good place to start.  We have included a list of utility companies below for your convenience.
